Boy Scouting offers boys, aged 11 to 18, experiences that build character, citizenship, and personal fitness. It gives boys the opportunity to develop their leadership skills in a safe, supportive environment. Troop 251 has been a part of Scouting for over 35 years. Current membership includes boys from Irwin, Larimer, McKeesport, North Huntingdon, and White Oak.

The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to serve others by helping to instill value in young people and prepare them to make ethical choices over their lifetime in achieving their full potential.

Quarterly General Membership meetings are held at 7:30PM on the second Wednesday of February, May, August, and November at the Norwin Chamber of Commerce offices, unless otherwise specified in a pre-meeting notice mailed to members.
